Msgr. John Francis Huhmann
The son of farmers in Missouri, Msgr. John Francis Huhmann became a parish priest, canon law expert, certified financial consultant, and pilot.
Msgr. Huhmann was born in the village of Saint Elizabeth in Miller County, Missouri, in 1924. At the age of only 15 he began studies for priesthood at the Pontifical College Josephinum in Ohio. He was ordained in 1950.
Msgr. Huhmann went on to study canon law, obtaining a doctorate from the University of St. Thomas in Rome. He also earned a pilot's license and became certified as a private investment counselor, managing substantial private portfolios.
Msgr. Huhmann created his legacy by including a gift in his will for the construction of Our Lady of the Most Holy Trinity Chapel on Thomas Aquinas College's California campus.
His legacy lives on through the students who receive the Lord's body, blood, soul, and divinity in this beautiful building.
